Explanation (?):

The VNC server service is used by RealVNC to receive remote connections. This is the root distribution of the virtual network computing (VNC) project, which is now called RealVNC, which allows you to remotely control a Windows, Linux or Unix computer over the Internet. There is also a forked distribution of RealVNC, known as TightVNC, that also uses this service name.

If you do not remotely control your home computer then this service should not exist. If it does then it possible that you've been hacked. If you use this service then it should be set to automatic. If you set it to manual or disabled then remote computers will not be able to use RealVNC/TightVNC to control your computer.
